WHO WE ARE
Dream a World Foundation is an NGO in India registered as a Society and is based in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. Dream a World Foundation closely works with the deprived communities and empowers the socially marginalized by providing them livelihood services, and imparting skills leading to employment, health and education facilities. Dream a World Foundation focuses on livelihood services, health and education, urban governance, child rights, human rights, young girls’ education, skill development, financial inclusion, rehabilitation and resettlement and other community development initiatives.
We are focusing on alleviating poverty, elderly care, child care, social exclusion, health, education,environment, livelihoods. We also focus on generating and sharing knowledge with diverse stakeholders to influence sustainable impact at scale. Our overall goal is the empowerment of people from poor and marginalised communities, leading to improvement in their lives and livelihoods.We work for social awareness about the various issues and government programs for their welfare and also motivates the urban and rural society for better lifestyle through various campaigns, awareness programs and camps. For Elders our aim is to serve elder needs in a holistic manner, enabling them to live active, dignified and healthier lives.
We are very dedicated towards the child education we provides our best efforts to educate the socially and financially backward peoples to educated their children so that they can understand the new world. Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one’s awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one’s rights – and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen.
OUR APPROACH
We facilitate safe growing spaces
Following a lifecycle approach, Dream a World Foundation works intensively through focused welfare projects in Seven major areas – Education, Elderly care, Child care, Healthcare, Environment, Skills training and Livelihood for Youth, and Community engagement through women empowerment.
Dream a World Foundation engages organizations, corporates and individuals from India and globally as partners and supporters. Dream a World Foundation initiated the Integrated Community Development Programme, an undertaking that seeks to rejuvenate slums into vibrant neighbourhoods. Dream a World Foundation works with slum residents, children, women, youth and vulnerable people in urban and rural areas.It addresses multiple needs of the socio-economically vulnerable with solutions, through which slum residents have access to basic services for holistic growth. Dream a World Foundation collaborates with the communities, specially the youth to undertake their upliftment programmes.
We provide a safe, creative and vibrant space for young people to be equipped, trained, mentored and socialise within their own community so that they reach their full potential.
