Dream a World Foundation started to work with slum children at Jabalpur, that time there were many derived children of these slum areas who were out of school or unreached by our education machinery. 

There was no awareness regarding education or values of education. Initially parents of those children were not willing to send their children to the school due to financially problem. After analyzed of the problems and assessed the needs we started to give inputs accordingly, like study material (to retain them in to school for the  full time), Uniform (for self/ team belongingness, recognition), community visit / counselling (to aware them, involve them within the system, making them responsible).

After few months the organization realized that in the school, the children were fine and they ready to stay but they were facing problem with home task because after returning from school there were nobody in their family to help or to guide them to do home task for the next day. They were loosing their interest to come to the school. The result they again are back to road/slum and loitering aimlessly, some time they engage themselves as child labour or other work. 

Dream a World Foundation started Evening Remedial Coaching Support for all these children. This remedial coaching centre is acting as contact place for the children and their parents with us. 

Apart from this education support (uniforms/ shoes/ educational materials / books / school bags etc) Dream a World Foundation started providing them other supports like health, counselling, skill development, cultural, etc to ensuring their rights and over all development.

Roti Bank Jabalpur is a food rescue organisation under Dream a World Foundation that bridges the gap between hunger and excess food. Started under the able mentorship of Founder/Director of Dream a World Foundation Mr. Davis Samadhanam, we aim to eliminate hunger, malnutrition and food wastage, many meals at a time.

The way our NGO functions is simple. We pick up excess food from weddings, events, hotels, cafeterias, housing societies and deliver it to thousands of hungry people who live in slums or on the footpath. We also deliver daily meals to the relatives of patients at Netaji Subhash Chandra Medical College Jabalpur. 

Other than that, we distribute freshly cooked food and raw grains to our regular beneficiaries. The NGO has a dedicated helpline no 97 22 77 33 57 where we can be reached and our dedicated teams pick up the excess food and redistribute it promptly, thus ensuring that the quality of the food remains intact.

We are Registered as a Society ‘Dream a World Foundation’, the Roti Bank Jabalpur initiative is driven by its visionaries and enthusiastic team who are all set to scale up the activities significantly.

We pick up food from anytime between 11 am to 10:30 pm. We do not collect food that was stored overnight.

Tailoring and Embroidery skill-training centre to equip the women. The intention behind the training is to create a decent living for the needy women by converting the 
centre as a production centre for their employment.

Eighty-five (85%) per cent of the women (Parents of our children) in the age group of 18 to 40 years live in economic crisis because there is not even a single source for income. Many of these women have done their eighth grade and some even have completed their 12th grade.

These women show interest to learn a skill, which will draw them, some money to make a good living out of it. These women expressed their need to be trained in some skills to get the employment. Therefore, this Tailoring and Embroidery training was started.

If they are trained in this skill it will be more easy for them to get employment in the near by Export garment factories as Tailors and in business house.

The contents of the training 
are dressmaking, garment over locking, power machine operation, fashion designing, and machine embroidery. After the training, these women would gain the skill and experience in dressmaking and fashion designing. At this time, centre would be converted as training-cum-production centre by getting business orders from Export Processing Zone and near by Garment Factories.

Therefore, the employed will get a sum of Rs.5000/= per month which will be supplementing income for their family to meet their need.
